Hello everyone,

The IIT Madras Quiz Club is proud to announce the revival of the IIT-M Open Quiz after a 2 year hiatus. We plan to make this one of the biggest and best open quizzes in the country. For more details please visit http://openquiz.iitm.ac.in/.

Along with the Open Quiz, we are starting a quiz blog which will be seperate from the IIT-M Quiz Blog. From now on expect a barrage of mind twisting questions with at least one question a day being the norm.

Starting today, you can be a part of the IIT-M OQ by participating at iitmoq11.blogspot.com, till the 16th of January when you can come to the Student Activities Centre in IIT-M for the actual quiz. There are loads of prizes and goodies to be won for the blog leaders.

The first question will be up at midnight.

I am sorry to say that our regular blogmaster for the last few months, Arjun "Samaadhi" Bharadwaj will no longer be posting questions regularly on the blog. Under his management, the blog's readership has increased significantly and the questions were widely appreciated. However, he has now decided ~~to elope with his boyfried and begin large-scale jute cultivation~~ that "Knawledge is the most important thing daw, so from naw on I'm going to do nothing but mug" (he really did say this). Although he will be much missed, the blog will continue under the management of two of our best quizzers, Advaith "Sappola" Mohan and Achyuth "Tempo" Sanjay, who I'm sure will continue the good work.
