#211 What did you say?

X is the origin of a very popular term A. That term can be generically applied to the origin of D by B + C. E is a hint to D. Identify X,A,D.

X

B

C

E

Everyone got a part of the answer, only Varun and AyuJain cracked it fully. Highlight for answer-
In-a-gadda-da-vida (D) by Iron (B) Butterfly (C). A commonly related story says that the song's title was originally "In The Garden Of Eden" (E) but at one point in the course of rehearsing and recording, singer Doug Inge became intoxicated and slurred the words, creating the mondegreen (A) that stuck as the title. X is Bonnie Earl O' Murray, which is the origin of the term mondegreen.
