Daily Question 20

Well, I'm back to being your quizmaster after a gap of 4 days, and depending on which side of the force you worship, you may view this as the return of the Jedi, or the Sith..

But, Star Wars and displays of geekiness aside, for todays question, connect... This one from Arun again

This is a four pic connect.

First three are connecting to a common thing. The fourth pic connects to the first three. To get the answer, get all fundaes right including the final connect.

Uncracked again...

Pic 1 : Buckminster Fuller, the american architect, author, designer, futurist, inventor, and visionary. He is most famous in the field of architecture for the geodesic domes.

As wiki says :
"He also worked in the development of numerous inventions, chiefly in the fields of design and architecture, the best known of which is the geodesic dome. Carbon molecules known as fullrenes or buckyballs were named for their resemblance to geodesic spheres."

Pic 2 : As said on the pic, Mass effect the game.

Pic 3 : It is the Lewis and Clark class dry cargo ships

Now the connect between these three is Alan Shepard. He had a geodesic dome built in his honor which was demolished later on in Virginia. The game Mass Effect's main character is named after Alan Shepard. An example of the Lewis and Clark dry cargo ships is the USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE-3).

Pic 4 : Tiger Woods, who plays golf (duh!)

The final connect is the "Alan Shepard playing golf on the moon" Again to quote wiki
"While on the Moon, Shepard played golf with a Wilson six-iron head attached to a lunar sample scoop handle. Despite thick gloves and a stiff spacesuit which forced him to swing the club with one hand only, Shepard struck two golf balls, driving the second, as he jokingly put it, "miles and miles and miles."
