Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
The great man provided vocals for The Prayer Cycle, which was put together by Jonathan Elias, but died before the vocals could be completed. Alanis Morissette was brought in to sing with his unfinished vocals.
Cracked only by Alva. Strange.

k missed the connect to the person part - not sure really
is it Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - he provided the vocals for this album but passed away before it could be completed - effectively making this the last album of which he was a part.
