Answer in a day
Quoting Kaushik, who in turn was quoting Wiki:
Connect:Hotel California(song) - The Eagles
visual 1-album art for the album Hotel California
visual 2-Steely Dan
visual 3-The Eagles
To quote wiki,"The use of the word "steely" in the lyric (referring to knives) was a playful nod to band Steely Dan, who had included the lyric "Turn up the Eagles, the neighbors are listening" in their famous song "Everything You Did".
Cracked by 5 quizzers, and although boneywasawarriorwayayix got the connect, he didnt get the story behind the 'steely' part and therefore, no credit.
In response to jeoffrey blacks question, obviously you cant be stopped from using image search tools, but it would be much appreciated if you desisted.
Also, as a request: Junta, please write your names after your answers if the same is not obvious in your ID.

THE CONFESSION -
I used an image search pic 2 as I had no idea who those guys were
I would seriously appreciate an official policy statement regarding the use of image searches for the online quizzes

connection: the lyrics of Hotel California give reference to the band Steely Dan ('they stab it with their steely knives...') as a nod to Steely Dan who had mentioned the Eagles in one of their famous songs
hotel california, steely dan and the eagles respectively. the eagles referenced steely dan in the lyrics of hotel california.
