Identify, and tell me why this bug is important in the context of...well, to be vague, .... the arts.
Be specific, be very very specific.
The Dim Effect is a natural phenomenon in which nature mimics art. The example after which this was named is Megaceras briansaltini, a rhinoceros beetle which displays the same unique horn structure as the blue rhinoceros beetle Dim from A Bug's Life (1998). The horn on Dim was rendered for a more child-friendly appearance, a shape that had never been seen before in nature or even in art. The first such horn structure in nature was seen in M. briansaltini eight years later in 2006.
Vague, i know... Aravind got it, though... Nice one :)

The rhinoceros beetle, world's strongest animal in relation to its own size
-AC/DC
Rhinceros beetle
To quote wiki(as that seems to be the trend):"Rhinoceros beetles are also the strongest animals on the planet in relation to their own size. They can lift up to 850 times their own weight. To put this into perspective, if a human of average height and weight had the strength of the rhinoceros beetle, he would likely be able to lift a 65 ton object"
is it the Remote Controlled Beetle
designed to make u get rid of your bug-phobia
This is a coconut palm rhinoceros beetle.
Connection to arts: well, i m not so sure but it can be a 1982 album called Beatlemania which had a collection of Beatles songs, which was released by RHINO records
It was controversial because it had a caricature of Mark Chapman on its cover
This be a rhinoceros beetle, and they entertain some humans by fighting one on one.
Some taxonomists said it looked like a character in 'a bug's life'....
oh yeah.. its a beetle and you have THE beetles... thats an 'art' connect... it also kinda reminds me of the scarabs in the mummy, so thats another art connect..
