Answer (highlight to read) :
Leo Tolstoy's Ana Karenina was inspired by Maria Hartung(the character of Ana at least) and first published in serial format in the famous The Russian Messenger periodical between 1875 and 1877.

Second pic is that of Maria Hartung... (Dude, there is no wiki article on her. :P )

The third is some work by tolstoy. It is not Anna Karenina, because it will be written as AHHA :P
