So im gonna go with Flower Power as the connect, with regards to the hippie movement of the 60's, but im not convinced
no idea about 1st pic but the second pic symbolizes the Flower Power of the 1950s and 60s and the song San Francisco by Scott Mckenzie was kind of an anthem of the era. wild guess about pic 1 its somewhere in San Francisco where Scott thought up the whole thing.
